Kimbow is an interactive dress which senses your posture and changes colour to amplify the message your body brings across. When standing in akimbo, with hands on hips and elbows projecting outwards, the thread structure of the dress changes colour in a way that creates an outward movement. This dynamic enhances the powerful appearance of the posture, attracting more attention and potentially increasing confidence of the wearer.

Kimbow is the result of an interdisciplinary collaboration between fashion technology designer Eef Lubbers and fashion designer and researcher Malou Beemer.
